Childbirth Preperation Course
Attend a weekly childbirth preparation course to learn all you need to know to prepare for your baby's arrival! Each class is active and hands-on for optimal fun and learning. The $300 class fee includes a course workbook and all class materials. We will meet every Monday for 4 weeks.

About the event
This four-part series is a comprehensive, evidence-based childbirth preparation course, packed with various activities including both the birthing person and the birth partner.Â
Week One -Understanding Birth: terminology, physiology of birth, the importance of relaxation, and needs during birth.
Week Two - Birth Tool Kit: fear & tension, breathing techniques, visualization, position, massage, what if...
Week Three- making Decisions: Who makes the choices, interventions, touch, action plans, birth plans
Week Four - lactation and Parenting: how lactation works, benefits of breastfeeding, positioning, hygiene, postpartum depression, crying baby, parenting decisions, support networks.Â
The lessons are activity and conversation based to increase the ability to learn, comprehend, and retain the materials presented.Â
