Service Description

Ultimately customize the topics covered and the length of classes. Book in three hour increments. Each topic section will be three hours. Mix and match topics as needed. Topic One: Understanding Labor, birth through the ages, terminology​, physiology of birth, importance of relaxation, needs during labor Topic Two: Labor Toolkit, fear & tension, breathing techniques, visualization , positioning, massage techniques, what if... scenarios Topic Three: Making Decisions, who makes the choices​, interventions, touch, decision making, action plans, birth plans Topic Four: Lactation and Parenting, how lactation works​, benefits of breastfeeding positioning, hygiene, postpartum depression, crying baby, parenting decisions, support networks
